MEET DR. MURPHY

Dr. Jack Murphy is an oral surgeon who works alongside our team of general dentists at Preferred Dental of Cromwell. As an oral surgeon, he works to improve the function and appearance of our patients' teeth using advanced surgical methods that he has learned and perfected over his years of training. Dr. Murphy strives to ensure that each of our patients feels comfortable and at ease while they are in his trusted care. While he specializes in the care of medically compromised patients, Dr. Murphy also performs difficult extractions, biopsies, pre-prosthetic oral surgery, pre-orthodontic extractions, and implant surgery.

"From the process of accepting a new patient, (5 year old daughter) and it being her first dentist trip here they were nothing short of spectacular. She was a little nervous and they made her feel at home and very comfortable. Jackie the hygienist was so nice and explained everything she would be using for the cleaning. They did some x-rays and no cavities!! Everyone in the office was so helpful and nice. They've earned life-long patients!!"

"Went to see Dr. Mestel today w a cracked rear molar. He gave the option of root canal /crown OR removal. I opted for removal. As luck would have it Dr. Murphy happened to be there and was able to do the procedure. He could not of been nicer and as painlessly as possible removed cracked molar. I highly recommend this pratice especially Dr. Murphy"
